Welcome to Travel Xpect! By booking a tour or travel service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound
by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the contractual relationship between you (the
"Client") and Travel Xpect (the "Company").
1. If We Change or Cancel Your Holiday
We at Travel Xpect meticulously plan our arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make
any changes to your travel arrangements. However, the nature of travel involves variables that may sometimes
be beyond our control.
- I. Advance Planning: We plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will
have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
- II. Right to Change: Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right
to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible
date.
- III. Right to Cancel: We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your
travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
- IV. Force Majeure: If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to
reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather, natural disasters, strikes, or political instability), we
shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced.
- V. Refund on Commencement: If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the
booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis depending on the services utilized.
- VI. Liability Limit: In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to
refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees. We will not be liable for any additional expenses
incurred by you such as visa fees, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights booked independently.
2. If You Want to Change Your Holiday Plan
We understand that plans can change. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but changes are
subject to availability and the terms of our service providers.
- Amendment Requests: After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel
arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to
make these changes but it may not always be possible.
- Written Request: Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made
the booking.
- Cost of Amendment: All costs incurred due to the amendment will be borne by you. This
includes any administrative fees, rate differences, or cancellation charges levied by hotels or
transporters.
3. If You Have a Complaint
We strive to provide a seamless experience, but if issues arise, we have a clear procedure to address them.
- Immediate Reporting: If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the
relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will
endeavour to set things right. Immediate reporting gives us the best chance to rectify the situation on
the spot.
- Formal Complaint: If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up
within 30 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant
information.
- Our Role: However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the
redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in
managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider.
- Third-Party Providers: All third party service providers are independent contractors
who are at no time under our control or supervision. We act as an agent for these providers and cannot
be held liable for their negligence or breach of contract.
